Evangeline Celebrates in Song Black History at Forest Heights Middle School
Evangeline is asked often to visit schools to speak to youth. In celebration of Black History Month, one of her most favorite schools to visit is Forest Heights Middle School.

"The students are so respectful and mannerable," said Evangeline. "You can see on their faces that they are like sponges soaking up every word."

Evangeline took the students on a journey educating them about history through the avenue of songs. Evangeline began her presentation educating students about Negro Spirituals and moved forward through some of the favorite songs of Civil Rights Heroes and ended with songs that promote inner strength, self respect and loving oneself enough to be all that God created them to be.
