“Conversations with God” featuring Evangeline Parker is a CD compilation of uplifting, soulful, inspirational Gospel songs that delivers powerful messages to various life situations.
The 11 track CD include:
1. Pray In Faith- a mid-tempo song inspired by 1 John 5:14-15 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us…we have what we asked of him.” This song encourages the listener to “Pray in faith and believe to receive...Pray in faith don’t waver just believe...Go boldly to the thrown of grace through prayer and faith you’ll find what you need if you Pray In Faith.”
2. I've Just Got To Say- an upbeat soulful song born out of Evangeline questioning God about some of the choices she made in life which in the spiritual made sense but in her natural mind led to many questions. However, through her study of I Corinthians 6:19-20 she learned that she was bought with a price and should honor God with her body. Through her song, she tells listeners, "When I look back over my life...I've Just Got to Say Lord I Love You."
3. I Feel Glory- a slow soulful song of praise inspired by John 14:14 “If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” I Feel Glory says: “When I call His name Jesus I Feel Glory...Let the peace of the Lord and the Glory of the Lord surround you...There is peace in the Lord he’s a shelter in the storm oh Glory…” speaks to the hurting heart and spirit and how the Lord can heal and comfort you.
4. Let Go And Worship- Philippians 4:4 reminds us to rejoice in the Lord always and this handclapping, foot stomping song of praise and worship ushers the listener into worship and praise. This song was born out of Evangeline celebrating her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "Let go and worship the Lord...If you want to feel his Holy Power...Worship him oh Worship him!"
5. Speak To My Situation- This song was born out of many questions Evangeline needed God to answer. The more she studied John 8:31-32 "If you hold to my teaching...You will know the truth and the truth will set you free," the more God spoke to her situations. "I need a word from you Lord...Speak to my heart so I can hear you...Oh please Lord Speak to My Situation."
6. Let God Lead The Way- "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart...In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths," Proverbs 3: 5-6 are a couple of Evangeline's favorite scriptures. This slow very soulful song co-written with Warner Williams speaks to the chaos and confusion multi-taskers often feel and it speaks to those wondering if they are making the right decisions in life. "Let God Lead The Way...Open your heart and let him lead your way... you don't have to worry about tomorrow if you let God lead your way."
7. Tears of My Praise- This slow classic Gospel infused song co-written by Warner Williams a Hurricane Katrina survivor and interpreted by Evangeline speaks on behalf of and to victims. Though material things were lost, the blessings of God continue because God spared many lives who have a testimony of praise. "Lord I have no place to live...but I'm thankful for your grace...would you accept the tears of my praise?"
8. I Can Feel You Moving– an upbeat, hand clapping, foot stomping song of praise inspired by John 15:7 “ If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” I Can Feel You Moving says, “I can feel you moving all over me...My soul is so happy I’ve been set free I can feel my troubles all passing away… Thank you My Lord for this special day” reminds the listener that because of our prayer and faith God is moving in our situation for our good.
9. In Step With You Master– a mid-tempo soulful song inspired by Philippians 2:13 “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to act according to his good purpose.” In Step With You Master speaks to those questioning the purpose of life and says “Everyday I wake up is a blessing...Feeling the flow of life through my veins...Is a gift I must proclaim...Lord you’ve kept me and raised me for my journey...My deliverer and Master I’ll live this day for you..I want to be In Step With You Master always.”
10. In The Quiet Place- "His delight is in the law of the Lord and in his law doth he meditate day and night...his leaf shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper," Psalm 1:2-3. Meditation on the word and meditation with God is the essence of this slow spirit filled song. "In the Quiet Place you speak to me and I hear your voice so clearly...you're watching over me and I find peace in the quiet place with the Lord."
11. Celebrate Life- "...Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world," 1 John 4:4. This song celebrates who Evangeline is in God and tells the listener to celebrate life everyday and experience the awesome power of God. "The Lord God is my guide ...I will follow his lead...I feel his spirit in me...I've got to Celebrate Life...Celebrate life today...I'm going to celebrate life because tomorrow just might be too late."

Evangeline Parker arrived in Conway, Arkansas at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 3rd to perform at the 2008 Toad Suck Daze Festival. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining brightly.
Evangeline was scheduled to perform at 3:00 p.m. and in the stands were about four people three of whom included Evangeline, myself, another production assistant and the stage coordinator.
Evangeline was invited to take the stage. She entered onto the stage as though thousands of people were seated before her.
She opened her show with a song from her new soon to be released CD "Conversations With God" entitled "Pray In Faith" by the end of the song one side of the bleachers was filled. She welcomed everyone and started singing her next song also from her CD "Speak to My Situation." By the time she finished, people were standing around the bleachers asking who is she? Many of the festival goers looked spellbound by her ministry.
As she sang her third song "I Know the Lord Will Make A Way" a dedication to her mother and traditional Gospel fans everywhere, both bleachers were filled and a diverse group of festival goers were standing, clapping and praising God with Evangeline.
As Evangeline sang "I Can Feel You Moving" the young and the young at heart joined in clapping and praising the Lord for his spirit. Evangeline ended her set with "In Step With You Master" a song that speaks about aligning your purpose with the will of God and 'I Feel Glory."
"I want to thank you all for being a wonderful audience," said Evangeline. "As you leave this place I pray that God will surround you with peace as this final song states," Let the peace of the Lord and the Glory of the Lord surround you. I Feel Glory."
Evangeline finished her thirty minute set and I had to ask her about the obvious tears that began to flow during her second song. She explained, "During my second song I saw in vivid color a vision God had revealed to me earlier in the week." "I didn't invite my friends or family to the festival because God told me I wasn't to bring a crowd I was to praise him and he would deliver a crowd and he did just what he said," said Evangeline.
Evangeline Parker is truly an anointed vessel and I'm glad that I was able to be a witness.

| FAN CLUB: "Converations with God" |
I have had numerous conversations with my God over the years. I constantly find myself using this 1 particular conversation as a testimony to young mothers and other young women that have been in this situation or one similar. About 4 years ago i found out that my ex-husband sexually abused my daughters and physically abused my oldest son. My first reaction was shock/disbelief! After the shock element, i went into a fit of RAGE! My first instinct was to find and kill the man who harmed my children. The same man I onced loved and called "husband". I talked with my mother and she reminded me that my children needed me with them and not behind bars. I found myself crying like I have never cried before. In the midst of my tears, I found myself praying harder than I have ever prayed before. I prayed not only for my children and myself, but for this man who needed Jesus. I prayed for strength, understanding (because I know that things happen for a reason & I needed to un!
derstand "why my family")healing (because this situation caused some deeply rooted wounds)& wisdom (to be able to teach and raise my children in the way that they would know God hadn't abandonned us. I am a single mother of 4 and I am constantly talking to my Jesus and asking Him to guide me & help me to raise my children according to His Will.
Some of the scriptures that got me through & still carry me through are:PSALM 23, 2 CHRONICLES 32:6-7, PSALM 44:18, PROVERBS 24:10, PSALM 18:28-32, EPHESIANS 6, just to mention a few. I knew that with prayer God would see my family through & HE did just that. My ex-husband is serving a 15 year sentence of which he has served 3 years. My children & I are active in my church & we are a praying family. I asked the Lord to see & bring my family through & HE DID JUST WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD!! HALLELUJAH! He told me to lean on HIM & depend on HIM...I DID! In the midst of my storm I learned to raise GOD during my storm. I learned to smile in! the face of adversity! My walk with GOD became closer & I have let my life become my testimony. I serve a mighty GOD who is worthy of ALL my praise & I offer nothing less. GOD BLESS YOU!!

"Inspiration from Heaven CD": What Is It All About?

| “The Inspirational CD entitled Evangeline Parker “Inspiration from Heaven” on her Angel K! Inc. label is truly a wonderful work of God,” says Evangeline Parker. “Every time I perform people ask me do I have a CD and now by the grace of God I do. It is my hope that the listeners of the CD will experience the presence of God and feel his Holy power!"
Not only is Evangeline an accomplished, anointed and Holy Ghost filled singer, she is also a writer. On her CD she wrote, “He’s So Good,” a traditional gospel, hand clapping, soul stirring song that talks about the greatness of God and how he will catch you when you fall; “Holy Power,” a soulful mid-tempo song that talks about the power of God and his saving grace; “Happy In Christ,” a soulful mid-tempo song that talks about a very special joy and happiness that can only be found in Christ. She also wrote two other songs on the CD “Holy Rain” a soulful arrangement performed to a sweet drum beat and falling rain that talks about the call by God to everyone to do his work; and “Hello Spirit” a spoken word musical composition that welcomes in the positive and says goodbye to the negative. Other songs included on the CD a special rendition of: “In the Midst of It All” written by Kevin Bond and in tribute to youth and humanitarians throughout the world “Hero” written by Mariah Carey and Walter Afanasieff.
Evangeline is a very versatile performer. She has performed, Broadway, Classical, Pop, Inspirational and Country music throughout the world. Her musical influences vary including the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, Pop Diva, Whitney Houston, Queen Diva Patti Labelle, Gospel Diva Yolanda Adams to Blues Legend, Bonnie Raitt.
However, she is sold out for Christ and credits her powerful voice and technique to a very special touch from God and the teachings provided by her mother Lillie Mae Parker.
